The Standing Committee on Equalization was created by council in 1943. Prior to this time, matters of equalization were delt with by a Special Committee on Equalization or the Committee of the Whole. The committee was succeeded in 1967 when it merged with the Standing Committee on Assessment to create the Standing Committee on Assessment and Equalization. |
