Function	The Standing Committee on Budget approved the budget requirements put forth by the standing committees for each of the departments making up county government. The budget was approved annually in April.
Administrative History or Biography	The Standing Committee on Budget was created by council in 1950. The committee was chaired by the warden and included all members of council. It continued until 1972 when county government in Waterloo came to an end.
