Title	Grand River Conservation Authority records

Scope	Series consists of reports to and from the Grand River Conservation Authority and the Regional Municipality of Waterloo regarding flood control, environmental assessments, storm water management, watershed study, and waterway regulations for construction. Series also includes agendas, minutes, supporting material, correspondence, financial statements and budget records, reports, and copies of legal appeals. The records were either created and/or maintained by the Finance Department as the Commissioner of Finance was appointed as the Treasurer for the Grand River Conservation Authority.
Access Restrictions	Restricted. The terms of the Municipal Freedom of Information Act apply to these records and they must be reviewed in accordance with the provisions of the legislation before being made available for research.
Terms Governing Use	Researchers are responsible for observing the terms of the Canadian Copyright Act. Permission of the Region of Waterloo Archives is required for any form of publication or exhibition.
Custodial History	These records were transferred to the Archives from the Regional Municipality of Waterloo Finance Department.
Accruals	Further accruals are not expected.
