Scope	Series contains newspaper articles clipped from various newspapers in the Region including the Kitchener-Waterloo Record, Globe and Mail, Ayr News, Cambridge Times, Waterloo Chronicle, New Hamburg Independent, Elmira Independent and Cambridge Reporter. The articles were clipped by staff in the Regional Clerk's Office. Articles pertain to issues in the Region including museum related events, water and wastewater issues, planning issues, council proceedings and elections. Many of the clippings from 1973 to 1976 and from August 1988 to 1998 have been glued or taped onto large 11 x17 papers; others are maintained in file folders. The files are arranged chronologically in a series constructed during the arrangement process. The title is based on the contents of the series.
Access Restrictions	None.
Terms Governing Use	Researchers are responsible for observing the terms of the Canadian Copyright Act. Permission of the Region of Waterloo Archives is required for any form of publication or exhibition.
Custodial History	The records were transferred by the Clerk's Office to the Region of Waterloo Archives.
Accruals	Further accruals are expected.
